IE Group

This prototype uses IE Group as the controlled test case so we can compare the tool against Abby’s real manual judgment before connecting live AI.
The biggest opportunity

The company feels more established than the website currently communicates.

IE Group clearly has depth, experience and multiple areas of expertise. The issue is not a lack of information. It is that the strongest proof of the company is spread across the site instead of being organized into a clear, confident story for someone evaluating the firm for the first time.

What’s already working

  • The business has real technical depth and multiple service capabilities to work with.
  • There is enough company and project substance to build a much stronger credibility story.
  • The site gives us a foundation to restructure rather than forcing the company to start from zero.

If this were my project…

I would not treat this as a cosmetic homepage refresh. I would reorganize the website around the way a potential client evaluates an engineering firm: what you do, where you have experience, the type of work you have completed, why the company is credible, and how to move forward. The visual redesign would support that structure—not replace it.

What I’d address first

01

Bring the company’s proof forward.

A visitor should not have to dig through the site to figure out the scale of the company, the markets it understands, or the type of work it has already handled.

What I’d change: Build the homepage and key service pages around visible proof—projects, markets, capabilities, credentials and relevant company experience.

02

Make services easier to evaluate.

The company offers a lot, but a long list of capabilities can make the visitor do too much sorting on their own. The structure should help someone quickly recognize where their project fits.

What I’d change: Reorganize services into clearer groups and give priority services enough room to explain the problem, expertise and relevant proof.

03

Turn project experience into a sales asset.

For an engineering firm, completed work is one of the strongest reasons to trust the company. Project content should do more than simply exist—it should help a prospective client understand what IE Group has already solved.

What I’d change: Create a reusable project/case-study structure that connects the work to services, markets, challenges and outcomes.

04

Give the whole website one clearer path.

When services, markets, company information and projects all compete equally, the visitor has to decide what matters. A stronger structure would guide them instead.

What I’d change: Create a clearer hierarchy from first impression → expertise → proof → next step, with calls to action that match how a serious B2B buyer researches a firm.

Estimated project paths

Three ways I could approach it.
